Everything we make passes through this room before it reaches anyone. Pieces are checked here, altered here, and packed here — which is why we can tell you honestly what a garment is and how it will sit.

Most of our customers come in to be talked out of something, at least once. We would rather you left with the right piece than the more expensive one.

What happens after you buy

The part most shops leave you to guess at.

  1. Ask before you buy

    Unsure of a size, a colour, or whether it suits the occasion? Message us. It is the step most people skip and the one that prevents most returns.

  2. We make it

    Cut and finished after you order — about a fortnight. If your date is too close for that, we will say so rather than take the order.

  3. We check it by hand

    Seams, hooks, the fall of the hem. Every order is looked over before it is folded.

  4. You try it on

    Small alterations are normal with ethnic wear. Tell us — and there are 7 days to send it back if it is not right at all.
